About Gwendolyn H. Bell

Raised in a small town in Southern Texas, Gwen Bell learned early on the importance of perseverance and hard work — values that have carried her from being a first-generation lawyer to representing clients in courtrooms across Texas. Today, as a trial attorney at Tilton & Tilton, Gwen devotes her practice to helping individuals who have suffered life-changing injuries.

Her practice focuses on a wide variety of cases, ranging from automobile accidents and premises liability matters to workplace injury cases. She is relentless in holding insurance companies, trucking companies, corporations, and others accountable, ensuring her clients receive the justice they deserve.

Gwen joined Tilton & Tilton during her second year of law school and now serves as a dedicated advocate for the firm’s clients. Shortly after being sworn in as an attorney, she participated in her first jury trial, applying the same preparation and tenacity she brings to every case.

Known for her thorough preparation, strong organization, and clear communication, she approaches every case with the belief that the client is the most important part of the process. For Gwen, perseverance is more than a personal philosophy — it’s the foundation of how she practices law and fights for her clients.

Outside of the courtroom, Gwen is dedicated to weightlifting and running. She believes that maintaining discipline and perseverance in health and fitness mirrors the commitment required to be an effective trial lawyer. The same dedication she applies to training is the dedication she brings to every client and every case.

Gwen received her B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Houston, where she was named to the Dean’s Honor List and was actively involved in leadership organizations, including the Pre-Law Society, Bauer Women Society, and Chi Omega Fraternity.

She went on to earn her law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston. During law school, Gwen served as Vice President of the STCL Coogs, and was an active member of the Women’s Law Society and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
