Felicia M. Hubert is an associate with the Lanier Law Firm Houston office. Felicia devotes her entire practice to trial work, representing clients in the areas of personal injury, products liability, premises liability, commercial and consumer litigation. Felicia has vast experience at the trial and appellate levels, with over 35 first and second chair trials to judges and juries in Federal and State court and ten State Court appellate arguments, with successful reported opinions.
Ms. Hubert was born in Houston and raised in Gladewater, Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas as a cum laude graduate. Mrs. Hubert graduated from the University of Texas School of Law with Honors in 1987 and began a private law practice, in Austin, Texas. In addition, she donated her skills to AIDS Services of Austin and earned an award from Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas for her pro bono activities.
Soon after her return to Houston, Ms. Hubert joined the Lanier Law Firm, where she has continued her charitable and professional endeavours. Ms. Hubert and Larry Wilson were recognized in 2011 for winning the 2nd largest verdict in consumer protection. Ms. Hubert is also on the Board of Directors of Home Run Hitters International, a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide increased opportunities and fun interactions for individuals who have disabilities affecting their communication and independent control of their environment.
Ms. Hubert is licensed to practice in Texas and all Federal District Courts in Texas. She enjoys participating in charitable activities, including the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and recently donated 12 inches of her hair to the Locks of Love Foundation. Felicia enjoys working in her garden, reinventing crafty items from “junk” and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She lives in Houston, with her husband Jeffrey, their dog and two kitties.
