Background
Devyn received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a dual minor in English and Spanish from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas. In her final semester, Devyn’s political science research was accepted and presented at the 2016 Arkansas Political Science Association Conference.
Her desire to be a public servant and help others led her to work in various roles for the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office over a span of five years. During her time working for the State of Arkansas, Devyn attended and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. While in law school, Devyn served as Clerk for the Robinson Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta and Treasurer of the Christian Legal Society. Upon graduating from law school, Devyn worked a year for a local Arkansas district attorney before recently moving to Texas.
In her free time, Devyn volunteered with local Arkansas nonprofits focused on food insecurity, childhood literacy, and history.
