Mr. Derek U. Obialo is of counsel to AnunobiLaw PLLC and assists in business and commercial litigation cases. Derek has his own law firm, however, he has been collaborating with Chidi Anunobi on business litigation cases since 2013.
Derek has tried jury and bench cases in courts all over Texas. Derek’s practice includes business litigation, commercial litigation and construction law.
Mr. Obialo was first licensed to practice law in 1991 in Nigeria. Upon migration to the United States, he enrolled at University of Miami School of Law and earned another law degree in 2007 – where he graduated cum laude. Derek also holds an MBA from Houston Baptist University.
Mr. Obialo is licensed to practice law in state courts across Texas. He is also licensed to practice before the U.S District Court Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the American Association for Justice and the College of the State Bar. Derek is a frequent volunteer guest speaker at college career day events and a zealous advocate for the proper understanding of Law and Science.
