Things started off promising but have since gone downhill. I signed my settlement release on July 16th, 2024 and was informed it would take 60-90 days after receiving the check for processing and expense deductions etc. I followed back up in October and Mr. Yost informed me that the check had been received and expense reductions were complete, and he was waiting for an update from accounting. I waited patiently for another 3 MONTHS but heard no updates. I followed up again with Mr. Yost in January but received no response. I called the firm in March to request an updated timeline, as this has GREATLY EXCEEDED the 60-90 day waiting period that I was told initially. The lady, Erica, who eventually answered the phone said that it was ‘with the partners and out of their hands’ and she could not provide me with an updated timeline at this time. Even though it has been over 8 MONTHS since signing the release. Extremely poor communication from the Houston firm. I would NOT recommend.
