Benjamin T. Major joined the Issues and Appeals section of The Lanier Law Firm in 2012. He received a bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence Summa Cum Laude from The Texas Tech School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal. Before attending law school, Ben taught English as well as coached basketball and tennis in the public school system.

Ben is a native Texan who is licensed in Texas. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Eastern District of Texas.
