Duval, Funderburk, Sundbery, Richard & Watkins A Professional Law Corporation is a law firm established in 1937 with an office in Houma, LA. At this office location, there are 8 lawyers practicing general civil practice, trial practice, federal practice and 13 other areas of law.
Mr. Duval has assisted me with the beginning of my problems in 2014 of the passing of my father. My only wish is he covered all legal matters. He is amazing at what he does, very knowledgeable to any questions, has great communication in every aspect. I have been on a rough road these past few years and hiring Stanwpod Duval to help me was the BEST decision I have ever made. He will always be my only choice for legal representation! After looking at reviews and getting a recommendation, I sought out legal assistance for a succession. After over 2 months and not hearing back for any updates I call and left messages on 3 occasions and not once did I receive a call back. On the 3rd call I acknowledged that I know her time is important but so is ours and would at least like a call back if not I would like to pick up our will and seek legal help elsewhere. An hour later the secretary call me to inform me to pick the will up, it will be at the front counter. Very poor way to treat people!! I would not recommend this place, that shows you how much they care about helping people. We were not worth her time to even return a phone call to update us!! We lost both our parents in 2 months time and have had a lot to deal with then to be treated this way shame on you!!
