About Shane Ethridge

I've been practicing criminal defense and domestic relations for 16 years primarily in the Garland County area. I have been President of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was asked to serve on the Board of Directors for another term recently. Growing up in Arkansas I lived and went to school in Batesville for several years before moving to Little Rock and graduating from McClellan High School and then attending Arkansas State University before moving back to Little Rock and graduating from UALR. I've spoken at several CLE courses for fellow defense lawyers over the years and helped numerous prosecutors around the State better understand the law. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, duck hunting, fishing and refereeing football.

Hired Attorney

Zero communication. Purposely ignored my spouse in open court. She had documentation that would have resulted in a more favorable outcome. Instead, I took a 10yr plea deal out of fear of a longer sentence. If the information she had in hand had been relayed to myself, or any other atty, I would have continued on to trial and maintained my not guilty plea.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
