Partner Bert S. Sakuda possesses 30 years of legal experience and joined Cronin, Fried, Sekiya, Kekina & Fairbanks in 1979. While Mr. Sakuda handles personal injury cases including automobile accidents, aviation, and products liability, his focus is in cases that involve insurance, motor vehicle accidents and appellate advocacy issues. This means that he has earned a reputation as one of Hawaii's leading litigators and authorities on insurance law. Mr. Sakuda is a recipient of Martindale-Hubbell's prestigious "AV" rating, which signifies the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards.
Mr. Sakuda is often invited to provide education seminars and to testify at legislative hearings in the field of casualty insurance. Additionally, he has served on several legislative committees, including those for the Hawaii State Bar Association, the Consumer Lawyers of Hawaii, and the American Bar Association Litigation Section.
