Hired Attorney

When I hired Ms Hirayasu she came across as a caring understanding, pro-active attorney. Unknown to me she ended up farming out much of the work to another lawyer and then would charge me to get updates from the other attorney. She made mistakes of not submitting paperwork to the courts in a timely manner and then had to write a letter to the Judges asking him to allow me to keep the court date, then charged me for her time to correct the mistake she made. When I would call her she wouldn't stop talking to listen to my questions and provide answers. She didn't show up at the court hearing, having the the subcontracted lawyer represent me. The judge asked that several items be changed on the Conservator/Guardian papers and it took from March to May to sort of get it write, finally the court made the corrections. What I ended up paying was over 3 times what I was quoted. I had to pay her off so that I could hire an ethical lawyer. Do not walk, run away from this lawyer!

Hired Attorney

Ms Hirayasu was insensitive to our custody case and passed it on to novice attorney who had client send a mediation letter to the respondent. That letter served as a draft for the agreement. The agreement, signed by the judge in Hawaii. It would not hold up in court in Texas where the child resided. non custodial parent was allowed to keep the child in Hawaii.A clear violation of the agreement and the UCCJEA.Ms Hirayasu hung up on her client when she called from the airport with her child.

Experienced attorney Robin Gregory handled this case. She got the court to allow mother, a recovering alcoholic, to relocate to Texas with the child. Father later chose not to follow the court orders. No one hung up on client, also she did not pay her bil
