Hired Attorney Yuriko Sugimura

Ms. Jane (Yuriko) Sugimura was excellent in supporting our case. As part owners of a leasehold interest in a Waikiki condo, the land owner hired a lawyer and was threatening to file a defeasement against us on claims that lacked merit. Jane quickly assessed our circumstances and performed the research providing us with additional substantiation that the letter threatening defeasement lacked merit. She quickly responded on our behalf with a response letter that ended any further action.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
