He graduated near the top of his class from the UCLA School of Law and was chosen as one of twelve members of the elite Moot Court Honors Program. Tony also represented UCLA at national Mock Trial competitions. Prior to taking the Hawaii Bar, Tony externed for the Honorable Margaret M. Morrow, at the United States District Court for Central District of California. Tony's expertise extends beyond the law. After graduating from Harvard in 1997, Tony became a strategy consultant for Corporate Decisions, Inc. He went on to work for an Internet start-up and then taught at a private school in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. In his spare time, Tony plays golf, and he is an avid sailor and competitive swimmer. He donates his time to animal welfare and environmental causes, and he makes his home in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
