Worst lawyer I ever had works with the DA to help them get convictions in the most crooked county in the USA it's well known in Lamar that if Karen verhoeff is your public defender you're done for and you're the one going to prison regardless of what you did or didn't do. does not fight for her clients She thought I was guilty and wouldn't even listen to everything I tried to tell her that could've helped my case I got 6 years for a verbal argument that never even turned physical because of this horrible excuse for a lawyer She tried to waive my rights to preliminary hearing and speedy trial without even asking me oh and she never even reviewed my discovery with me because her computer from 2000 wouldn't load. she shouldn't even be allowed to practice criminal defense!!
