Martha Louise Riewaldt

I have gone to a couple of meditations facilitated by Marti. This just recent meditation had to be rescheduled because the other party brought a support person but did not disclose the fact beforehand. I showed up on my own. She made sure the support person remained in the lobby. She had to be firm and assertive and she did so calmly. We were then given options to proceed with a caucus mediation or to reschedule. We decided to reschedule so I could also have a support person present and she did not charge us for her time that day. I'm guessing it's simply her policy and that no partiality was shown based on our situation. Either way, I don't think she is required to run her business that way but I appreciate that she does. During our previous mediation, she demonstrated professionalism and remained objective. It helped to be reminded of the purpose of mediation. I want everything to fixed yesterday. Unfortunately, the legal system is slow. Mediation is the first step. She does well.

Martha was very responsive and explain all opinions. She knows the Law and is on your side. She is honest and explains exactly what you are entitled too.

Hoping she actually reads her reviews so she understands that all of these 1 star reviews should tell her something. SHE IS A TERRIBLE GAL! SHE DOES NOT keep good documentation. She failed to give good feedback and the way the court system is set up - it is really hard to turn over a GAL's recommendation. MARTHA is not truthful, doesn't remember facts and definitely does not have the best interest of the children. As a matter of fact, based on all these reviews, you would almost think she was working directly with the favored attorney in these cases because it seems as though she offered and had written down exactly what the other atty had recommended. Martha, I hope you take the time to think about your impact on the lives of those you work with. In these cases of two good parents and one wanting equal time and rights, you had NO reason not to grant that other than your own bias.

I dont know if Marty is lazy or unethical, but she has presented herself as both. We had the unfortunate luck to be assigned Marty as our GAL. She never listen to anything me or the mother had to say. Marty ignored that the mother wasn't sending my children to school. Marty ignored that the mother was not sending them for parenting time. Marty ignored that there was someone in my ex wife's house giving my 13 year old marijuana. Marty asked for 2 continuances because of her personal reasons. We was forced to settle out of court because Marty asked the court for $3600 in addition to the deposit she had already squandered. I realized that Marty knew that she didn't do her job and she couldn't answer questions in court. I consider this $3600 right before our final trial as extortion. I cant stress how bad Marty Riewaldt is as a child advocate. I have 2 kids that the mother didn't send to school and Marty told us to go home and get along. Stay far away from this terrible excuse of a GAL
