I bought my Condo in early Sep'20, so I'm writing this review very late, due to my hectic schedule of working 7 days a week. I feel very fortunate as a first time home buyer to have hired this team! Most of my interactions were held with Laine, and she guided me through the whole process very patiently and explained the same things multiple times. She guided me to ask the bank for a lower rate than what I previously agreed upon with them, and I eventually succeeded in getting one! She was also very prompt with notifying about all the required documents, and helped me along the way in getting the extensions whenever needed. I met Harvey and found him a real gentleman as well! Before that we talked over the phone, when he pointed out a few points in the contract that needed to be altered, and explained to me very nicely ad clearly how they would affect the whole transaction. The same was his attitude when we went through all the closing documents. Overall, best team that I could get!

Harvey and Laine helped us with our closing. We had some difficult sellers and The two of them we able to support us and our needs. Definitely recommend to buyers.

Hired by a sibling(s) or state of Illinois since no calls were ever received except for unprofresional email contact with Laine Teichman. Claimed papers needed to be signed but none were yet sale of home was completed without any accounting of actual funds being distributed to the care of my mother. Multiple calls to their office with no answer or call back yet her email stated she couldn't contact me but never indicated the phone that she was trying to call or who provided the phone number. If in fact the sale is fully complete this law firm left funds that should have been refunded to my mother that were an over paid in previous years on property taxes. That is an indication that they failed to complete the job let alone do the best job they should have done to support an elderly dependent individual. I would not give them the time of day let alone a penny from my pocket.

This law firm was inept in handling my condo sale, and unable to communicate with me. First, two days before my closing day, I had still not received a Settlement Statement from them. I called them, did not receive a call back. Instead, they emailed me back and told me (in incomplete sentences and using zero correct grammar) that they had not reached an agreement on prorations, could not get a payoff letter from the mortgage company, and had received a low appraisal. My closing ended up being delayed for twenty-one days. Also, Laine is unable to communicate at an adult level. Many of my emails went unanswered, and she does not write in complete sentences and usually does not use any punctuation - this is unacceptable coming from an attorney's office. I also had to remind her that I had sent her my banking account and routing numbers to set me up for direct deposit. She also asked my permission to share my contact information with the buyer's mortgage representative - even though
