I can say from experience that Carlton Johnson at O'Kelley and Sorohan is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this location here in Tucker Ga. Carlton is knowledgeable, focused and helpful no matter what time of day or night that it is. He works around the clock to represent this law firm in its best light. When I send my files to O'Kelley and Sorohan, I know that they are going to start working on them right away! The team here is kind and welcoming from the start. I feel fortunate that they are so close to me and that I don't have to worry about what is going on with a file. They keep the agents informed of the progress being made throughout the entire process. Every closing that I have ever attended here has been smooth, for that I am forever grateful. Make no mistake, closing loans for lenders, customers and clients is not easy. However, they make it seems effortless at the end of the process. If you are looking for a reliable Real Estate Law firm, you just found it!

Hired Attorney Ms. Diedra L. Sorohan

Diedra and the staff at O'Kelley and Sorohan always go out of their way to make my clients feel welcomed. Even on their busiest days, they take the time to answer the questions and address the special needs of buyers and sellers. I appreciate the combination of professionalism and personal service, and feel confident when my closings are scheduled there as that is one aspect of the transaction I don't feel the need to "micro-manage".

Be careful if these are the attorneys of someone you are dealing with. They have dishonest, lying clients. We went to close on a deal and their clients told us 1 1/2 - 2 hrs before closing that the money they were providing for our purchase/ rehab deal is to be reimbursed after we spend our own money. We had asked multiple times about when , how much, and how fast we can get the money for the rehab and everytime they said we can get it fast and as much as you want from it but never once did anybody say you have to spend your money first then we reimburse you until right before closing. We lost $7,500 of our deposit because their attorney Carlton said we signed the contract. When asked about the definition of funding and reimbursing being 2 totally different meanings he agreed but still believes his clients are entitled to my deposit money even though they lied to me from the beginning. Their clients (Easy Street Capital and New Western Reality) sold this deal to us under LIES!!

This is the WORST legal office that I have ever dealt with. First off, they are extremely rude. Secondly, no one answers or returns voicemails, you have to keep calling them. In order to get ahold of anyone we had to call other office locations.. Third, they lose paperwork with personal/sensitive information OR forget to send the needed paperwork for final closing. Both the attorneys & paralegals are NOT on the same page. They both ask for things multiple times even though they’ve already been provided. Closing was at 3pm on the 28th & we finally received our closing funds on 3/1 after 4pm only because we called several times to find out that they had neglected to send more documents that needed to be signed. (Even though all other parties were paid in full at closing.) Our paperwork sat on someone’s desk for almost a full day & NO ONE thought to contact us.I would avoid dealing with the Loganville office completely.

Working with David Strauss was a headache from the beginning to the end. He, nor no one in his office, will respond to an email or phone call in a timely manner. He sets meeting time for calls with his clients and drops them without notice. He is very unprofessional for the lawyer profession. If you ever need a lawyer, David is not my suggestion.
