Peter M. Cordovano, Esq is an experienced and resolute attorney, providing the seriously injured with expert legal service since 1986. Peter received a BS in pre-medical sciences from Manhattan College, and his Doctorate of Law from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg - Touro Law Center. For many years, Mr. Cordovano served his state, county and towns as a Delegate to the NYS Third District's Judicial Committee, and as a Board of Ethics Member to the Ulster County Legislature and the Village of New Paltz. In the 1980s, Peter was a motorcade driver for President Ronald Reagan in New York City.

In the last 40 years, Peter M. Cordovano, Esq focused his practice on many areas of law. Earlier in his career, Peter was known to respond to the question “what kind of law do you practice” by stating, “it’s easier for me to state what kinds of law I don’t practice.”

Peter’s breath of legal experience and knowledge is extensive. In addition to continuing legal education, Peter continues to be a student of anatomy, physiology, illnesses, diseases and conditions. Peter has lectured before the NYS Bar Association and the Injured Workers Bar Association of NYS.

Today, Peter practices before the NYS Workers Compensation Board representing both Injured Workers and Uninsured Employers in injury and penalty cases. The firm also represents workers injured in all types of construction accidents, including falls from heights and falling objects. Social Security Disability Cases (SSDI) and NYS & Local Retirement Disability Cases are also accepted.

Mr. Cordovano was a great lawyer to work with he understood my case he was very professional while working with me. He took his time to explain things I didn’t know or understand His experience working in the system shows while in the hearing and firmly believe he is why I won my case.

Peter is a very caring person tried his hardest because there was no written proof at the hospital of a work related accident I was not able to go along with the claim, But he listened to me and it meant a lot to me to actually have somebody that feels it I didn’t deserve it because there’s no paper proof of a blunt force trauma to the back of the head I’m hitting my head on a rack at work …Peter heard me out like I said he was caring , Took a listen to me

is not good with follow up or getting records from doctors. I had better luck getting my reports than he did, and didn't even realize at a hearing that they were hand delivered to his office by me personally.
