There is customer service, and then there is Matt Moore customer service. Not only did he help us with saving money, he was able to help us close on our new home by using funds from our old home all within the same afternoon, even though both homes didn’t close at the same law firm. In addition, when the deed was in jeopardy of not being recorded in time due to a county system outage - Matt jumped in his vehicle and hand delivered it to the Register of Deeds to make sure it was recorded that day. 2 years ago my wife walked out on our marriage and moved 3 hours away. She filed for separation and divorce nowhere near where we lived so I had to find a lawyer in that area. Through my benefits package at work I was given Matt's information. We were still at the beginning of COVID and I was not able to meet with him personally but Matt and Amy have been there doing everything possible to make the best for me out of a really bad situation. They went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal. Even when I got really upset at some of the emails and paperwork that were sent to me they were able to assure me that they were doing everything to get what I was asking for, and we only had to let go a a very few things. Stuff that in the long run will not matter. If anyone in the area need family law help make sure you give Matt and Amy a call.
Do not hire this attorney!! I made the mistake, and I want to save you from doing the same. It appears that Mrs. Berley sent in forms to the Industrial Commission with the wrong I. C # on it June 2024. (I later found this out). Due to this error, it appeared as if I didn’t have an Attorney on File with the Industrial Commission. A motion sent by Mrs. Byerley and her Paralegal (December 2024) was denied as they didn’t have her as my attorney and there was never a form 18 from her with my correct I.C # on it. Mrs. Byerley then sent in a new form (January 2025) and tried to correct her mistake and never once told me of this error. My entire case was a mess. I hadn’t been paid, medical claims not approved. I questioned her, this is her response.” I cannot represent someone who just isn’t listening to me, whether intentionally or not. “She created a mess then resigned. -January 2025. To this day she has yet to admit the error or even apologize for any of this.
