As a transactional lawyer, Kevin works with clients over a broad spectrum of industries including health care entities, manufacturing companies, commercial real estate development firms, automobile dealerships, financing companies, professional sports teams and financial institutions. Kevin also serves as lead counsel for many health care organizations including continuing care retirement communities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and medical practices in various transactions.
Kevin has served as lead counsel in closing thousands of business transactions and commercial loans secured in whole or in part by real estate. He enjoys helping his clients plan for reaching their goals from startup and is very happy when they are successful in their ventures. He strives to involve our firm’s team members with different areas of expertise and skill sets in order to engage the best team for the specific transaction at hand.
Kevin has been rated AV in Martindale-Hubbell by his peers and is designated as preeminent in his respective fields of law.
Kevin and his family are very active in our community and he is proud to have deep roots in Catawba County. He believes in giving back to our community by donating his time and services to a vast array of nonprofits where he has served in leadership roles and as a hands-on volunteer. Outside of the workplace, Kevin enjoys travel with his family and friends, boating on Lake Hickory and engaging in sporting and outdoor activities. He is a huge sports enthusiast and supports the Tarheels and Appalachian State Mountaineers. He strives to represent the best interests of his clients while living by the Golden Rule and keeping faith, family and friends at the forefront of his life.
