It was utter frustration that drove me to Fred Abrams and a clear cut case of Govt wrong doing for no apparent reason. Mr. Abrams was relentless, anticipating every road block that the agency in question put in our path and citing the law and firm reasoning for a positive decision. The outcome we got was unprecedented in these times and positive to our case. I would recommend Mr,Abrams strongly for any challenging case that you think can't be won, Read less

My Florida condominium association's board of directors illegitimately disqualified my application for board member candidacy ahead of the scheduled 2020 elections. Ahead of that, they had attempted to dissuade me from running in a number of different ways, because they saw my candidacy as a threat to their chances of re-election. They fought dirty and claimed that my 20+ year old New York felony conviction for falsifying business records made me ineligible to serve as a Board Member. They went even farther to hurt me - they broadcasted my old criminal conviction to every member of the association in an effort to try to publicly humiliate me and diminish my character. Fred Abrams was instrumental in helping me prove that my civil rights had been intact all along (fully restored many years ago), and that the Board's actions towards me were illegal and inexcusable. I ultimately won my case. I was fully vindicated. Mr. Abrams is an awesome professional. I am lucky to have found him. Read less

Fred took my case and advised me that it would be an uphill battle which would take some time. He communicated clearly that he could not guarantee success even if we put forth all required effort. My case did take time, but Fred was able to think outside the box and use his knowledge of the law and the legal system to effectively argue my position. In the end, Fred succeeded in achieving my goals and I could not be more thankful. Honest and tireless. Good communicator. I recomend him highly. Read less

I had recently applied for premise pistol permit in NYC and was denied for ridiculous reasons. I was referred to Mr.Abrams because i was told he was the best choice for filing an administrative appeal. When i reached out to Mr.Abrams he returned my phone call within the hour and was sympathetic to my situation. What meant a lot to me was that he was not only sympathetic to my situation but also to the 2nd amendment as a cause that is ignored and violated constantly in this country. He explained to me in detail the process and hurdles to come during this process and that unfortunately in my particular case it was not the first time he had seen the arbitrary reasons for which i was denied . He wasted no time getting to work on my appeal right away. Unfortunately there is no guarantee when filing an appeal that it will come out in your favor and Mr.Abrams explained that to me. I believe in fighting for my rights. I looked over the 25 page appeal he prepared and I was more than content Read less
