Joan Hunter

I used Joan a few years back and I found her to be an amazingly thoughtful and competent lawyer. I know that many people seeking divorces want to hurt their ex... "to get all they can".... and I don't think Joan is a good lawyer for that kind of experience. I can't imagine her wanting to advance a vindictive agenda..... However, if you want someone that will protect you from that kind of hardship and fight for a fair and equitable divorce, I think you would be hard-pressed to find someone better. I appreciated her service to me and would gladly use her again if I still lived in the area....and no I was not asked to say this.

This is Wayne Walker. I was a previous client of Joan Hunter. I have written a review in the past. It has now been six months sense the final court ordered sale of the marital property was completed and fund’s distributed to the parties. Time has passed and cooler heads prevail, along with the heartache of a marriage lost. I am quite shocked to find that a person, not only used my name, but also made an accusation that I was, somehow, coerced in writing the positive comments in my first review. This is far from true!! Looking back on this divorce case, I am quite pleased with the results, Thanks completely to Joan’s work. It is also interesting to note, my entire legal bill was “3 times less” than the opposing side? Same divorce, same results, 3 times lees the cost!!?? Thank you, Joan.

Joan Hunter was the second attorney I had for my divorce. I was grateful to meet her. Joan has the knowledge and experience to help you through this difficult event. Joan is extremely thorough in collecting evidential documents and does not miss court deadlines. She works closely with her client in this endeavor and keeps lines of communication open. It's laughable she begged Wayne to give her a favorable review. I know this as fact as she begged me to do so as well. She is incompetent, unprofessional, and inept. She came to my hearing unprepared and uneducated and had the nerve to blame her incompetence and the judge screaming at her throughout the hearing about her unprofessional behavior on the Judge himself! She wasted time and my hard earned money on her games and was more interested in trashing her (very few) other clients and attorneys in the surrounding area than actually representing me. She was so inept and uncapable that she not only sent emails about my case to others when asked several times not to, but I received emails meant for another one of her clients myself! Not only did she completely screw me over and my case was a joke, but she refused to show up for a later meeting in a higher court to dispute her actions and incompetence. Her no show allowed me to file a attorney review and request my money back!
