Hired Law Firm
David Ritter and Kitay Law Firm saved my life! I made a huge mistake last year due to alcohol and an interaction to my prescription medications. I ended up in jail and was facing 16 years in a state prison. After being bailed out I began my hunt for a law firm. I was fairly new in PA, and none of my NJ lawyers either specialized in my case or were licensed to practice in PA. I looked online and found the Kitay law firm. I gave them a call and the owner Ken immediately called me back and ensured me they would do everything to help my case. I was assigned David Ritter. David was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to my case. He always answered my calls, answered any questions I had, and would send me text messages of support. I followed all of his recommendations and he worked tirelessly to help me. After 10 months of having David work for me and support me the entire time I received 5 years probation and avoided jail. David Ritter is my Guardian Angel! THANKS AGAIN!
I hired Jessie Congo for my case, I was confused and scared and looking for answers. I told them about my need for urgency and they said they couldn’t help me until I put a deposit down of $2000. I paid them and waited all day to hear from someone and I was never reached out to. I had to call the office to ask to speak to my lawyer who was rude and didn’t seem to want to talk to me. I asked when he I should expect to hear anything and I guess I hurt his ego because he said j don’t think we’re a good fit and fired me 3 hours after j paid him and took $500 25% of what I paid them. They did nothing for me expect send me a package after firing me with a dumb mug and bag as if I’d ever advertise their firm. Don’t waste your money this place is scummy.
I cannot believe that this law firm, hasn't been sued and I cannot believe that anyone would write a favorable review of this firm. I was arrested for a DUI last year. I needed an attorney, so I hired Kitay law. It was my second. The first was over 10 years ago, but my sentence for the first one was just 2 weeks shy of 10 years ago, and it was in a different state not PA. They promised that they would assign me one of their new but most dedicated lawyer. He told me that the law in PA. states that because my previous DUI was under 10 years, I would face a mandatory 90 days in jail or house arrest, I told him I have a high profile career for a well know state company. He said he would get the DA and Judge to keep me out of jail and pay some fines and do maybe a couple of days in jail and the rest on house arrest, so that I can maintain my job, which I agreed to and was happy to accept. However that is not what happened, when I went to court there was a white man with 9 DUI's, yes that's
Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
