Mr. Lockwood is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum. Early in his career he gained a reputation for excellence in the civil courtroom trying complex toxic exposure, train collision, asbestos-related disease and death cases, and traumatic injury cases in states along the East Coast from Ohio to Florida, in state and federal courts, against Fortune 500 defendant corporations. He has argued numerous appeals to the Virginia Supreme Court, and in the state and federal appellate courts in other states and the District of Columbia, and has earned tens of millions of dollars for his clients in settlements and verdicts on injury claims. He graduated from Mary Washington University with degrees in International Affairs and Political Science, and graduated from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at William and Mary in 1995.
