In addition to using Attorney Bernathy as my personal attorney, he is also the solicitor for our township where I serve on the elected Board of Supervisors. I have recommended him to friends of mine who needed an attorney and everyone has been very satisfied.
Total waste in Hawley Pa. Totally unacceptable, he tried to side with a local in the area and lost in the end. If you’re looking for a fair fight this is definitely not your man . From beginning to end was showing no respect for other people who were there that evening.
Never returns phone calls. Doesn't update you on the status of your case even when jail is involved. Never in the office (you'll get to know his secretary really well). When you do miraculously get a hold of him, he makes big empty promises talking your head off for 2 hours to bill you big for something that should've been a 5 minute conversation. He needs a lesson in client communication!!!
This is the worst lawyer in the world. He does not return phone calls the staff is rude and unprofessional. Do not walk from this law firm run.
