Lawyer Don is not what you'd expect from an attorney, in the best way. He allowed me to ask many questions without getting frustrated. I have had a previous auto accident with another firm but the attorney was never in the office and was never able to answer my questions directly. Don actually cares and his passion shows. I hired Mr. D'Aunoy Jr after a terrible auto accident in March 2020 after which I have sustained catastrophic injuries. The first surprise was that Mr. D'Aunoy refused to file a complaint in court without explanation, although I had been asking him to do so on numerous occasions. In December of that year, I finally warned him that I will separate him from the case if he doesn't comply with my request. Also, Mr. D' Aunoy Jr. "corrected" our contract to make it more favorable to his interests. Furthermore, Mr. D' Aunoy Jr. manipulated me into receiving expensive medical services and costly physical therapy, although I could have received such services at a mere $57.00 a month. He did so to increase his own take in any compensation for my injury. This lawyer is very secretive. He treated me as if I was his enemy. He has repeatedly refused to reveal a settlement offer, thus denying me an opportunity to make an informed decision. He lacks competence & integrity.I terminated him on Sept. 30.
