Robert Johnson has over 23 years’ experience as an insurance defense attorney, representing individuals, businesses, and insurers in a variety of civil matters.
Rob defends clients in cases involving automobile accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, product liability, wrongful death, Dram Shop, and catastrophic property loss. Rob has extensive trial experience in both jury and non-jury matters and has tried cases in nearly every jurisdiction in Connecticut. Throughout his career, Rob has also participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations. Rob has successfully argued before the Connecticut Appellate Court. He has also appeared before the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission on informal, pre-formal and formal hearings. Rob prides himself on delivering high quality, cost-effective and efficient representation of his clients and holds himself to the highest ethical standards.
Rob attended Central Connecticut State University and graduated from Quinnipiac College School of Law in 1999, where he was a member of Law Review. He began his career in private practice in 2000. Prior to joining NPM, Rob spent 15 years as in house counsel at various prominent insurance companies, where he honed his skills as a trial attorney and litigator.
