About Joseph E. Scolavino, Esq.

Joseph E. Scolavino was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island in a family shaped by law enforcement and public service. With a father who served as both a military veteran and an NYPD detective, Mr. Scolavino’s understanding of the justice system started long before law school it was part of everyday life. That upbringing gave him a deep respect for the truth, along with an early awareness that how evidence is gathered can be just as important as what it shows. He learned quickly that strong cases are built on careful, ethical investigation, and that the smallest details can determine the outcome. Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Scolavino spent several years in Washington, D.C., working on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Aide to a Congressman. In that role, he developed a practical understanding of how laws are created, debated, and refined experience that continues to inform his approach to legal advocacy. He later returned to New York to pursue his legal education and earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in Queens.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
