Hired Attorney

In the beginning she communicated well with my son’s complicated multi layered custody case but 2 months in it was clear that she was in over her head. When I started to question some of her actions or inactions she did not discuss it with me or my son instead she ran to the owner of the firm to complain about us questioning her. Then I received a phone called from said owner dressing me down for questioning her this destroyed my confidence that the lawyer could handle opposing council if she couldn’t handle me questioning her. Two days later when I called the office with a question I was told that no one in the office would be speaking to me any longer- even the person who handled the billing which I paid. If you can’t handle clients how are you going to handle the other lawyers. This lawyer has no business charging $350 per hour. She’s notready to charge that much. She needs more experience and should start with some easier cases 1st. We wasted a lot of money and hired another lawyer

Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
