Reviewed many lawyer profiles and selected Doug for an initial (free) consultation. Signed a retainer promptly after being impressed with his experience, knowledge, and understandable explanations. At the pre-trial hearing he got the 3 minor charges & 1 serious charge reduced to ONE minor charge. No points & no significant fine - so I am one very satisfied client.
He was polite, prompt, helpful, and very easy to work with.

Attorney Feather has been very helpful in handling an out-of-state estate, including opening the estate and establishing myself as an administrator. She has advised me of the steps in the process and provided regular updates on status. I would recommend her.
I needed a criminal lawyer for a case, I spoke to Elizabeth Close and she assured me that she was a former prosecutor and was knowledgeble on how the system worked. I felt that she had my best intrest, however she did not do a good job on explaining the charges she asked me to pled guilty to and also told me about only 2 charges and in getting in front of the judge i found out she agreed to 3 charges without my knowledge. Horrible experience, you are better off using a public defender who will fight better for you.
I initially thought Peter was great. I was in a major jam that required multiple lawyers. When I first contacted Peter, he instantly made me feel at ease. He made it sound like he had a ton of experience in this particular area & told me he knew most of the "players" involved ie. the investigators & prosecutors. I paid him $1500 right off the bat, which covered him sending a three-line email to a licensing board. That is the extent of the legal work Peter did for me. When I called him a few months later with a question, he was downright AGGRESSIVE on the phone. He screamed at me & said, "How am I supposed to remember your case??????" To be clear, all communication goes through his secretary, who I assumed had *refreshed his memory* before he picked up the phone. I can't imagine calling a client without taking the 5 seconds to familiarize myself with the case, so as not to look like an idiot (or in this case, a raging lunatic). My criminal lawyer was paid the same for 2.5 yrs of work.
This review is for Elizabeth Close, Esq not the law firm as a whole. Response time was absolutely horrendous, sometimes weeks. Her entitled and condescending demeanor when you are paying her $325 per hour is disgusting and degrading. I overheard her gossiping about a client on my way out once and what she was saying isn’t repeatable by my standards. She also openly disrespected the opposing party in my case. No matter the issue, civility is imperative. Waste of time and money and mental load.
Woodburn does not follow PA judicial ethics and is a known throughout the law community for his shady dealings. There's a reason he's not working for a larger law firm anymore and, instead, had to start his own firm in the twilight of his so called career. He lacks the legal know-how to perform simple tasks a first-year law student can easily handle. He cannot be trusted and should not be practicing law.
He's not a worthy lawyer. Please don't waste money or time!
We hired Peter Good and all we got were lawyer fees, lies, with no results. He agreed that we had a good case and were told that our case will be resolved by three months, but by three months we had lawyer fees from Peter that totaled over $5000 and counting. By 5 months the bill was close to $7000 with no results so we had to fire this dishonest, greedy, selfish lawyer. We eventually got a very personal and compassionate lawyer who got more results in less than 1 month than Peter Good did in 5
