About Mooney Law

When Attorney John J. Mooney III founded Mooney & Associates in 1997, he had a mission entirely based on client’s needs. His vision was to bring experienced legal representation in all areas of law together in one practice for the benefits of varying clients needs over a lifetime. Many law firms handle just a few areas of law. Attorney Mooney envisioned building a law firm with the ability to fight for results for client, no matter their legal need. He also wanted his services to be convenient for those he served, offering evening hours, consultations without appointments, appointments when convenient to the clients (including weekends) and multiple office locations.

Hired Attorney Carolyn Anner

After being denied 3x in using another attorney, we won our case on the 1st hearing. She is prepared with all information needed before the Hearing date. After being denied 3 times it is easy to give up. I am glad I tried the process one more time with Mooney Law and Carolyn Anner. I highly recommend in obtaing her servics for SSDI benifits.

George is one of the most compassionate, honest, and accommodating professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. It is absolute nightmare for one parent when another parent takes kids out of the school and moves away, I had contacted him for these issues and George’s knowledge and confidence put me to complete ease. Our attorney has waived the interest that is charged on balances that are over 120 days old which is great because my husband's balance is so high. We were not able to get the attorney that we wanted from the firm for his case though because he was not licensed to practice in Maryland where my husband's case was located.

I had a simple divorce and child support case; The case got thrown out because Mooney Law didn’t do any work aside from billing. This law firm is well renown for ambulance chasing, but maybe they should try practicing law. $20,000 and two years later, I am still married, but separated for many years, and there is no child support because of this hack law firm. Any other law firm would have been a better investment. A freshman in college would have done a better job at such a simple task. I am not a lawyer, so don't understand how they could have lost such an easy case to win: DNA, Marriage license, birth certificate, photographs, a baby, etc. They had all the evidence and were too lazy to do any work aside from billing so the case got thrown out. These are really bad people, but not good at being lawyers. They are more like the people that try to extend your car warranty. Imagine if you use them to defend your Jay Walking case? You would get 20 years in prison.
