Absolutely terrible, she has no basic understanding of family law what so ever. Told me that in order to execute wage garnishment, for child support, I would have to hire a lawyer in another state to represent me. This was told to her in the court room as being wrong and not true by the judge. Her staff call you constantly and Harass you about documents they should already have available, and when you show that you are human and under stress she has no compassion and threatens to drop your case. This was after me as a client doing my due diligence and being present and well dressed for every court date. Attorney Heffernan was always paid in full and on time as well. After she threatened to drop my case and was clearly embarrassed by her lack of knowledge in the court room, as evidenced by the judge correcting her, I told her thanks but no thanks. She has no remorse and compassion at all what so ever. Would never recommend her to another woman going through child support issues.
