Thomas DeMarco, a dedicated attorney with a rich background, was born in New York City to an Italian-American family. He pursued his education in New York before making a significant transition to law school in Arkansas, where he excelled, passing the bar examination as the highest scorer in June 1980. Following law school, Thomas began his legal career in New Jersey and relocated to South Jersey in 1983, where he quickly developed a deep appreciation for the community.
With nearly nine years of experience at the Public Defender's Office, Thomas established his criminal defense practice in 1992. He has successfully represented clients in thousands of municipal and criminal cases, demonstrating his expertise through rigorous cross-examinations in various trials, including serious offenses such as kidnappings, robberies, and drug-related charges. His contributions to the legal field include publications for the Camden County Bar Association, providing guidance on complex drug cases. Outside of his legal work, Thomas and his family are actively involved in their local church, homeless shelters, and animal shelters, while also cherishing time spent with their two granddaughters.
