This lawyer clearly does not care about her clients at all. Communicating with her has become a complete failure. She ignores every message I send, and her constant delays make it obvious that she has absolutely no interest in handling my case. I am burning inside because I just want to see my children, yet she shows no concern whatsoever. It has been more than two months with absolutely no attention or effort from her.
Didn't meet with me or prep me for the court date. She didn't say much in court and child support was taken away from my child then she said at least it's suspended and not terminated, even though its still the same thing... I'm not getting child support while non custodial is incarcerated Then I asked the judge to review my motion for custody. She didn't help me find the words when the judge asked what I mean. I was granted custoday but never given any proof. Qhwn I asked her about it she said the judge didn't grant me custody bc I was given that in a past court hearing, which wqa untrue or I wouldn't pay $80 in fees and mailing. The judgement said I was self represented and it sure did feel like it. Then she dropped me 2 weeks before my name change trial but not before sending me and email with the wrong attachment. The one she sent was for relocation, not for name change.
This lady was not nice to me or my situation. She came to her own conclusions without gathering the facts she also told me of none of my rights but made sure she told me the defendant rights. What type of attorney does that to their client? She also told me to look up the law on Google in which I did and was gathering my information for this lawyer and in the midst of that she closed my case. It was a race issue. She feels blacks don't know who there children's fathers are, and we don't deserved to recieve child support. People like her is why we stay far away from the court. It's not fair and how dare you talk to me in that manner. So what I am not working full time and had to use you as a public defender. You don't know my story and you don't know my situation. She needs to watch how she talks to people. I am a grieving mother which she knew nothing about, she probably don't have no kids. Beware of her especially if you are a person of color
