Lauren has done quite a few transactions for me and she is very good at what she does. I felt I was in good hands and she was very communicative through out the process. She has the knowledge and understands the needs of her clients. I am glad she was my lawyer.
Lauren DeCarlo is a wonderful attorney and person. She is extremely competent. She’s genuine and sincere, and totally honest. Besides, she’s knowledgeable and gets the job done. My husband and I would highly recommend her without hesitation.
She did not provide the complete proper paperwork to the IRS and my formation was rejected. She told me everything was done and did not follow up when I asked her to. I did not realize that the IRS rejected my application until myself and my accountant looked into it for taxes.
A lesson everyone should learn when looking for legal representation for your house purchase/sale; do not take a recommendation from your real estate agent. Do your own research and find one on your own terms. I was referred to Lauren by my real estate agent for my condo closing and maybe spoke to Lauren once throughout the entire 2 month process. Most of the work and communication was done through her paralegal Rachel (whom as kind, respectful and responsive), unlike my experience with Lauren. The one time I did manage to speak to Lauren over the phone, I met with screaming and yelling at her client as if I was a child; merely for voicing my discontent that the closing was delayed days from the original closing date. Never in all my years dealing with legal counsel/representation was I met with such unprofessional behavior and a clear sense that she does not have the best intentions for her own client. Do yourself a favor and look else where should you require legal services.
