I have known Barry Kaufman for nearly 12 years. Don't be alarmed! He facilitated my divorce in an efficient, fair and timely manner. I always felt well cared for, and trusted him and his team. He is a decent man and well respected in the courtroom. That's seems important, too. I interviewed many of the attorneys in Bergen County. While he always looked out for my best interest, I never felt Barry was out to "churn", instigate problems or make unreasonable demands that would ultimately rack up legal fees. Best of luck to you.
Barry Kaufman Esq., helped me through an extremely ugly and drawn out divorce, lasting close to five (5) years. Barry and his staff are/were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Many times Barry talked me "off the cliff" so I would focus on the task at hand. My decision, to select Aronsohn, Weiner, Salerno, Bremer & Kaufman, was based on my prior experience's with Gerry Salerno Esq., who has helped me with several corporate issues.
In the past two years I've worked with Jerry Salerno on two controversial land use applications in Bergen County. Jerry navigated both application processes with confidence and knowledge, which led to both applications being approved, in what would be considered, a short period of time. Jerry and his staff are a pleasure to work with, they are extremely competent and experienced land use attorneys who understand complex zoning issues. I would highly recommend Jerry and his firm to anyone. Aside from his legal expertise, he is always responsive to emails and phone calls.
The worst! He used zero facts in his ruling. His independent alleged accountant was NOT an accountant. He prolonged litigation in bad faith. A true psychopath.
