Hollis Holleman proudly represents the third generation of the Holleman family dedicated to serving South Mississippi’s legal community. From an early age, he was captivated by the legendary legal careers of his grandfathers, Boyce Holleman and Brig. Gen. William “Slater” Hollis—both of whom argued cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. Inspired by their legacy, Hollis committed himself to the study and practice of law with unwavering dedication.
His passion for American jurisprudence is reflected in his exceptional academic and professional achievements. In March 2018, he scored in the 93rd percentile nationally on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam, demonstrating a keen understanding of legal ethics. Just four months later, he ranked in the 90th percentile on the Multistate Bar Exam, further solidifying his legal acumen. Both exams, administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners, are required of all aspiring attorneys—yet few achieve such elite results.
With a meticulous attention to detail and an in-depth understanding of the law, Hollis has built a reputation for excellence early in his career. He remains deeply committed to upholding the principles of justice and continuing his family’s distinguished legal tradition in South Mississippi.
