Mr. Granims was assigned as public defender on a friend's case. He was not interested in representing him fairly. Instead the first time he approached my friend without knowing him or discussing the case he told my friend because he had beaten the same charge previously the DA had it out for him. My friend had not beaten a previous charge for this. It was a different charge. When he tried to tell Me. Granims; he got angry, calling my friend a liar, not listening to my friend or the story, and was insistent on saying my friend was guilty. When he finished talking to my friend he walked over to the DA's desk stating that "he didn't believe my friend, said he was lying about it and guilty. He believed my friend went into the house." This was completely false. My friend never beat a prior charge the same of what he was accused of, he never had a chance. This public defender works for the DA and will not represent you fairly. He's not interested in your account of what happened.
I tried working with Mr. GRIMINS. I fired him after my first appearance. This man works for the DA not the client.
