Timothy Clardy is an Anderson, SC native. He is a proud Eagle Scout. Mr. Clardy attained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina in 2000, graduating summa cum laude from the South Carolina Honors College and receiving the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award. He attained a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the Compleat Lawyer Award. While in law school, Mr. Clardy was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and received the Victor A. Michelwitz Award for his student note that was cited by the South Carolina Supreme Court. Mr. Clardy was president of the Student Bar Association and received the honors of Order of the Wig and Robe and Order of the Coif. Before entering private practice, Mr. Clardy was a law clerk for the Honorable G. Ross Anderson, Jr., U.S. District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina.
Current PracticeMr. Clardy is our lead Social Security Disability attorney. He has been representing clients in private practice since 2006. Mr. Clardy is licensed to practice in all South Carolina trial and appellate courts. Mr. Clardy is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Thus, Mr. Clardy has positioned our law firm to uniquely pursue Social Security claims to the highest levels of appeal. Moreover, Mr. Clardy is accredited to practice before the Veterans Administration (VA) to assist disabled veterans.
Professional AssociationsMr. Clardy is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. He is one of only a very few attorneys in the state of South Carolina to hold Board Certification as a Social Security Disability Advocate.
Personal AssociationsMr. Clardy is active in his church at First Baptist Church of Anderson, South Carolina as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and youth volunteer leader. Mr. Clardy serves an Assistant Scoutmaster and Chaplain for Boy Scout Troop 215. He also is an avid LEGO collector and displays his creations in various exhibits with SC Bricks, an adult LEGO club.
