Horrible services, would never recommend to anyone. Didn’t fight for my case or speak on my behalf at all. Ruined my life and took my money. Terrible communication, lost my case, literally sold me down the road.
Mr. Garrett is not only a horrible lawyer I cannot wait to help campaign against him. I helped with his campaign and he won and then he wouldn't even return my calls and sure it's worse for other constitutes. His wife when I called for a legal matter was rude, obnoxious and hung up on me. If you need a lawyer please contact anyone but him and come election time please help me take our district back!! I know comments he made to me proves he really doesn't want to serve the people he was elected to serve and is fighting for redistricting to make sure he can have better financial support. On a personal note he cares nothing for veterans or the needy families in my opionion.
We were set up and ripped off. We went in to hire Billy Garrett. When we went to talk to him a woman was in with us. I assumed she was his paralegal. We discussed issue and she took notes, after talking he had his paralegal check his files, and then he said he couldn't represent us because it would be a conflict of interest because he had represented the other person's stepdad more than 20 years ago. This is a small town but he stated the woman Alecia Comptonwho was sitting in the room could represent us and that she had experience in family law and he would assist. This was a custody issue so we were ready to move ahead. I overheard her as him how much to charge. The first time in court she arrived moments before the hearing was about to start and she was disorganized. When we went to mediation she walked out to discuss her daughter's lease. We contacted Billy Garrett many times through his paralegal with no help. We were setup and ripped off by both lawyers.
