I loaned my daughter the money to pay them for a retainer. They took the money in bad faith. They were informed at the very first meeting before the retainer was given that there was a possible conflict of interest. They claimed it was not an issue. They then immediately filed a continuance delaying my daughter's court case. That's fine, they needed time to prepare. But then the next court date came along and they filed another continuance without even informing my daughter they were going to do so. She showed up for court only to find that her case had been continued by her attorney who didn't even bother to show up. Then, when she contacted her attorney she was told that they could not represent her because of the very conflict of interest she had informed them about in the first visit. Now, they are dodging her calls will not return her considerable retainer even though they did nothing whatsoever for her.
