Dan Caplis has been serving as lead counsel in Denver catastrophic injury cases for more than 40 years. And he’s just warming up. Dan is the only lawyer in Colorado history to win five straight multi-million dollar jury verdicts in Colorado crash cases, and he won the largest truck crash jury verdict in Colorado history.

Dan is married to Aimee Sporer Caplis. Dan and Aimee met when he was the on-air legal analyst at CBS Denver and Aimee was the main anchor. Dan and Aimee have two amazing children, Joe and Caroline. Joe is in law school and Caroline is the Director of Media at our firm.

Leadership in the Colorado Community
Dan’s parents taught him the importance of public service and helping those in need. Dan’s father was a 30 year veteran of the Chicago Police Department, and his mom used to move pregnant teenage girls into the family home so they would have all the support they needed to have and raise their babies.
Dan has used his 30 years as an on-air legal analyst and talk show host to raise large amounts of money for charitable causes ranging from orphans in Africa to the homeless in Colorado.
Dan Caplis Law has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help seniors, the homeless, and underprivileged children. Dan is also a member of the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities.
