Working with this lawyer was very difficult. She was not responsive to any phone calls. Her assistants always said she was in court or busy. She was not able to complete my divorce after years. (No custody or children involved in my divorce.) This lawyer told me to be present for court 30 mins prior to review the case. I was there prior but she showed up late to court! She was not prepared for court either. After court, she said she would call me that day. No call and her assistant had to emailed me. She is also not financial astute (not great at spreadsheets either) which is what I needed for my lawyer since my divorce was all about money. The biggest concern is her team would forward my emails to the opposing counsel without my approval. I thought this info was confidential? Had to hire new lawyer to complete. Waste of money spent with Barrett.
