They are more likely to blow you off than help you. After being referred twice on different dates I still got the same response from them. I don't appreciate my time being wasted just to be told, "oh we are too busy"
I hired Stephenson & Murphy, and paid them more than $400 in advance for a contract review and one-on-one strategy session. It was clear that the attorney did not review my contract prior to the session; as he was completely unprepared, and was clearly unfamiliar with ALL parts of the contract. It also seemed that the attorney was multi-tasking during our session; which I could tell by his continual rustling of papers. He clearly was not "rustling" my contract, as he was unable to keep up with my direct references to the various explicit articles as I addressed them. During the paid session, the attorney, whom I hired explicitly for LEGAL ADVICE, literally said to me - on more than one occasion: “I cannot give you legal advice” - and then proceeded to burn the better part of my $400+ hour dispensing unsolicited psychotherapy. I highly recommend that you do not hire this firm.
