When we were having problems with our daughter's medical bills and the insurance company, I sought counsel from Janet Ward Black. She gave us clear and concise counsel that got us out of the middle ground between the insurance company and the hospital, saved us hundreds of dollars, and gave us peace of mind that our daughter's care would not be interrupted. I recall vividly the first time we sat down and discussed my case with Nancy. The tears and the story of my injuries were listened to and fully addressed in such a positive way. Nancy was always so supportive and certainly a role model for her positivity, not to mention her continuous availability. I was so frustrated because no one was willing to listen and assist with my injustice.
It was a pleasure to work with Nancy I certainly would not hesitate to offer her name to those that are suffering from someone who has treated them unfairly. In my instance, I believe there was no question in regards to the severity of my case and the Department of Health and Human Services agreed in their decision to award me with compensation.
This journey has been long and arduous but throughout this process with Nancy’s relentless course of actions, she always gave me hope.
I am forever in debt to Nancy.

I think Ms. Payton is very professional. I have never called her that she didn't return my phone call. She has a great personality to go along with her professionalism. She also has a legal assistant named Tammy Martin who is also excellent in what she does. With the two together I have the best of both worlds....Ms. Payton is tops in my book..
