Mr. Hodgman was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1947. He is a graduate of Duke University (AB- Political Science, 1969) and of UNC-Chapel Hill Law School (JD, 1972). He is admitted to all North Carolina courts, the U.S. Middle and Eastern District Courts of N.C., and the 3rd and 4th U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal. He was originally certified by the NC Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in North Carolina's workers' compensation law in 2000. Fewer than five percent of attorneys in our state are certified as specialists.
