Brandon, a proud native of Hampton, Tennessee, cultivated his roots in East Tennessee, shaping his journey towards becoming a distinguished attorney. His academic pursuit led him to East Tennessee State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies. Demonstrating leadership qualities, Brandon served as the President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and received numerous academic accolades, earning a coveted spot on the Dean's List multiple times.
Post-graduation, Brandon furthered his legal education at the Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina, culminating in the attainment of his Juris Doctorate. During his time at the law school, Brandon actively participated in the Rural Lawyering Capstone Project, addressing the legal needs of the citizens of Cleveland County, North Carolina. His commitment to practical experience extended to internships with the County Attorney's Office for Gaston County, North Carolina, and the District Attorney's Office for the First Judicial District of Tennessee, covering Carter, Johnson, Washington, and Unicoi counties.
In 2016, after being sworn in to practice law, Brandon initiated his legal practice as a solo practitioner in Greeneville, Tennessee. In February 2018, he co-founded the law firm of Foster and Potter, PC, alongside Greeneville native Robert Foster. This partnership evolved into Baker Foster Potter, PC in 2020, with the addition of current partner Chase Baker. Brandon's dedication and legal acumen have earned him recognition as a Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers, solidifying his position as an accomplished legal professional.
