Bar Fellowship
of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers and has been the Vice Chairman of the State Bar Uniform Commercial Code Committee of the Business Law Section and Chairman of the Uniform Commercial Code Revised Article 9 Opinion Subcommittee. He has been a frequent lecturer and author for Practicing Law Institute and Continuing Education of the Bar California, and has published numerous articles on banking, finance, commercial and real estate finance matters, and workouts.

He has also been an adjunct professor at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, Golden Gate University Law School and at Northwestern University. Mr. Fleisher was awarded his B.A., with high distinction, from Northwestern University, and his J.D. (1972), cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. He is licensed in both California and Illinois.
Corporate Background
Mr. Fleisher represents clients in general corporate, limited liability and partnership matters including formations, investments, stock and asset acquisitions, reorganizations, mergers, consolidations, spin-offs, as well as daily operational matters (functioning as an outside general counsel). Mr. Fleisher has extensive experience in venture capital financing, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, and corporate finance. His practice also includes a variety of business and transactional matters including licensing, sales, equipment leasing, workouts and bankruptcy (including supplier and customer insolvencies). Mr. Fleisher's clients range from start-up to emerging companies to well-established mid-market corporations and businesses.
Memberships & Honors: Mr. Fleisher is a fellow in the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. Previously, Mr. Fleisher has been a member of the adjunct faculty at Golden Gate Law School where he taught commercial finance/secured transactions law. Previously, he also taught contracts at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and business law at Northwestern University. Mr. Fleisher is also former vice chair of the State Bar Business Law Section Uniform Commercial Code Committee and former chairman of its Opinion Subcommittee. Mr. Fleisher is also a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
Presentations & Publications: Mr. Fleisher is the author of numerous articles published through Practicing Law Institute, a prominent national continuing legal education organization, at which he is also a frequent lecturer. He is also the author of Flashes from Fleisher, a quarterly newsletter covering current developments in California law.
