My family and I consulted with Mr. Connell after a referral from my daughter. After the initial consultation, he followed up with a letter summarizing the conversation. We decided as a family to have Mr. Connell represent us to prepare last will & testament and other documents for my ex-husband, and he refused saying we should have done this a long time ago. Yes, I agree, but we were in a situation where he most likely had a stroke or a series of mini-strokes which suddenly caused his dementia. This situation must happen all the time. That's why we consulted with an attorney to find out next steps. He didn't even recommend another attorney who may be able to help us. He flat out refused to help. I work at a large law firm in downtown Denver and was appalled at his behavior as a professional. I feel like there was some prejudice towards my family, either because of our last name, or limited income. I do not recommend this attorney.
