I hired Mr. Chimovitz to execute an eviction for me. He was recommended to me by the real estate agent that I purchased the house from. Tells me $400 will cover the eviction and she will probably leave after the eviction. Also tells me we can go after damages. Well after 2 and 1/2 months she finally agrees to leave after he withdraws the case and says we are not seeking any money. He seems very concerned over the person I am evicting asking her if she has a place to go, etc. But doesn't seem to care at all about his client who hired him to do the job and is paying him to do it. Since he had to talk to her on the court zoom, I end up paying him another $400 for a job I quite honestly could have done a better job with all by myself. One appointment he told me to meet him at his office at 9AM and wasn't even there. I called him the day before the court appointment, to ask what time I should be there he acted as though he forgot all about it. I believe Mr Chimovitz is well past retirement
This attorney took $2000.00 dollars of a friends money to add a person as Co-Attorney-In-Fact to the Power of Attorney Papers, after the person in need of the POA had been deemed incompetent. The paperwork is not notarized and is not even worth the paper it is written on. Power of Attorney papers can only be changed by the maker of the POA. The maker of the POA had no legal representation.
