About Robert D. Mannor

Attorney Robert Mannor stands as a nationally respected figure in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Veteran Benefits Planning, holding the distinction of being one of only twenty attorneys in Michigan nationally Board Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. As an Accredited Attorney through the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of General Counsel, Bob brings a wealth of experience to his practice.

A former Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Elder and Disability Rights Section and Past President of the Michigan chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Bob is recognized for his leadership in the legal community. Bob's academic foundation includes a degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Michigan, and he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law. A member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Genesee County Bar Association, he is also admitted to the U.S. District Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Certified as a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, Bob is the only elder law certification recognized by the American Bar Association. He is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

Bob's contributions extend beyond his practice, as seen in his involvement in various conferences and institutes, including the Atticus National Solo and Small Law Firm Summit, State Bar of Michigan Elder Law and Disability Rights Section Spring Conference, and more. He has been honored with the Atticus Practice Management Game Changer Award in 2018 and named the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Chapter Member of the Year in 2017. In 2023 Bob received the Commitment to Caring Award from Dementia Focused Practice® Conference.
